We would like to invite you to participate in a Special Issue of International Journal of Water Resources Development on Governance in Mekong: Space for Dialogue.
The Mekong River traverses six countries with diverse stakeholders holding multiple, overlapping and sometimes competing interests, often yielding tensions and conflict over the priorities and processes of river governance. Resolving these requires high capacities to assess complex problems, modes of ensuring credible commitment, and the application of broad knowledge sets.
We invite you to submit an article to this issue, and are particularly interested in any work on integrated and collaborative management, and theorizing about governance models of the Greater Mekong.
All the articles submitted will be reviewed by the Guest Editors before submission to the journal. Manuscripts should be submitted to by email to the Guest Editors for initial peer review. Publication of the issue is planned for early 2017. Please let us know as soon as possible if you are interested in submitting to this issue.
Deadline for abstracts: Fridaly, 1st August 2016
Deadline for manuscript: Friday, 2nd December 2016
Please send your abstract to: sppwh(at)nus.edu.sg
