TRAINING: Applied Land Governance

The Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida) and Lantmäteriet (the Swedish mapping, cadastral and land registration authority) invite applications for the Advanced International Training Programme (ITP) on Applied Land Governance. This advanced international training programme (ITP) focuses on land related issues and aims for strengthened capacity among public institutions to increase trust for public services and secure land rights, in particular for women and vulnerable people in selected eastern African countries.

The programme has a regional approach to promote land governance collaboration between 5 eastern African countries. Candidates are accepted from Kenya, Rwanda, Tanzania, Uganda and Zambia. The total number of participants is limited to 25 per course (5 participants per country).The scheduled programmes will be September 10 – 30, 2017 in Gävle, Sweden, and March 4–11, 2018 in one of the participating countries.
